3rd Symposium on Human Rights: Children’s Rights

General Description

Symposium on children’s rights will last for 3 days in which students will be able to learn about many different topics concerning children’s rights. Lectures and workshops will cover subjects such as vaccination, violence in the family, the convention on the rights of the child, paediatric CPR, child as a patient. These lectures and workshops will be held by medical doctors, psychologists, social workers, and medical students.

Interactive lectures and workshops – indicator: at least half have students actively participating
Number of participants – indicator: at least 50

Partners

Our plan is to collaborate with University of Zagreb School of Medicine and with School of Public Health ”Andrija Štampar”. Also, lecturers will be students and professors involved in different student and non-govermental organizations.
