Global extreme poverty continues to fall rapidly. In 2013, the year for which the most comprehensive data on global poverty is available, 767 million people, or 10.7 percent of the population, were estimated to be living below the international poverty line of $1.90 per person per day. Around 100 million people moved out of extreme poverty
from 2012 to 2013, and since 1990, nearly 1.1 billion people have escaped extreme poverty. The global poor are predominantly rural, young, poorly educated, are mostly employed in the agricultural sector, and live in larger households with more children. Despite progress, extreme poverty remains unacceptably high, especially in Egypt as
27.8% of population still lives below the national poverty line. The United Nations adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes a set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, fight inequality and injustice, ensure equal access to Education and equal access to water and sanitation. 1- Work on the quality of life for the underprivileged in 23 villages in Egypt.
Obj. A) Education: Aware people about everyone’s right to education and enroll number of children in
each village in public schools.
Obj. B) Good Health and well-being: Ensure healthy lives, access to hospitals and basic services and promote well-being of citizens in the targeted villages
Obj. C) No Hunger: Provide food in the targeted villages in collaboration with the Egyptian food bank.
2- Raise the awareness about sustainable development goals and how everyone can participate to implement them.
Obj. A) Launching online campaigns about most important sustainable development goals.
Obj. B) Launching physical campaigns to medical students and public to aware them about their role.

– We are going to hold a national training during our next Winter camp.
