The activity consists on several sessions in which the students will learn about the special needs of deaf people, through learning LSM (Lengua de señas mexicana), public health problems and doctor-patient relationship.

Objectives

To inform about healthy lifestyle and disease prevention to deaf people through and interpreter

To sensitize medical students about the needs and disadvantage position of deaf patients in comparison to non deaf patients and the differences in health acces

To educate medical student in doctor-patient relationship and atention to specific health issues for deaf people.
