General Description

In the corridors of medical school, a stand was built to capture the attention of passers-by and expose them to a great deal of information about suicide and its prevention.
Our purpose was to raise awareness and educate the public.
With this part of the activity,
People know that suicide is a reality that affects society.
On the other hand, we campaigned using social networks, where we publish images with positive content and help us promote suicide prevention.
On September 27, 2016, a meeting was also organized.
Presentation on the subject, suicide, prepared by
Psychiatry staff. The patients of psychiatry of Santo Hospital were visited
Tomás to bathe in the subject of psychiatric disorders, as well as the suicidal and death ideas that are part of depressive disorders, taking them an ample afternoon of painting workshop with the help of the foundation Olga Sinclair.

Objectives

Connect, communicate and care following the theme of the suicide prevention day of 2016.
Support patients in the psychiatric ward with a paint shop.
Reach people needing support or others who can help us bring the information to the people who need it.
