General Description
The main goal of the “Orphanage Initiative Romania” Project (OIR) is to help orphans develop properly, physically and psychically, and becoming socially-adapted and better integrated teenagers and grown-ups .

Objectives
The goals of the project can be structured onto several levels:
1. The orphan and abandoned children:
– To develop their relationship-creating capacity;
– To develop their team-work, team spirit and fair-play;
– To develop their individual working skills;
– Stimulate their creativity;
– Teach them notions on proper hygiene, healthy lifestyle, diet and exercise;
– Have their confidence built up.
2.The volunteers:
Both on a national and international level:
-Gain experience and knowledge from working with children of all different ages-from babies to teenagers and from the provided trainings;
