General Description
The Children’s Health Fair will invite families from all over the country to spend a Spring day with various fun activities and programs in a form of a fair where children will enjoy their time. We will also teach parents tips and tricks on how to take care of their children’s health easily and effectively with the help of professionals from various fields related to health. The aim is to improve the lifestyles in every Lebanese household.

Objectives
1. To improve the understanding of parents and children;
Assessed via pre and post evaluation forms to test the knowledge of both children and parents
2. To organize a family outing in which both parents and children will have a great, safe, and healthy time during a Spring day
Assessed via trained supervisors who will follow guidelines
3. To train medical students on how to deliver the information and interact with the public especially to different generations
Assessed via sessions prior to the event and feedback provided by parents
4. To provide a long-term impact on Lebanese families concerning children’s health
Assessed via long term follow up and future contacts with participants

Partners
We will be collaborating with health professionals from the American University of Beirut Medical Center including nutritionists and psychologists, an NGO specialized with safety on roads, an NGO specialized with children’s protection, sponsors for gifts, activities, healthy snacks, and special programs, and the Municipality for the venue which will most probably take place at the public park called ‘Al- Sanayeh’. Contacts with the aforementioned partners will be established in person.
