International Day Of Happiness

General Description

The point of the day is to spread awareness that happiness is a basic goal for humans. And to encourage countries to design their public policies in a way to help improve everyone’s well being. As the UN’s Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said in his message for the 2014 International Day of Happiness: “Happiness is neither a frivolity nor a luxury. It is a deep-seated yearning shared by all members of the human family. It should be denied to no-one and available to all.”
